Intended Use and Disclaimer
Team DNA is a behavioral assessment platform designed to support individual reflection, team development, and insights into group dynamics. It is not intended for use in employment selection, promotion, termination, compensation, or investment decision-making.
By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Team DNA does not provide legal, investment, or human resources advice.
- The insights and outputs generated by the platform are not intended to diagnose, evaluate, or rank individuals for hiring or funding purposes.
- You will not use Team DNA as the sole basis for any employment-related or financial decisions.
No Liability for Decision-Making
You understand and agree that:
- The creators, developers, and operators of Team DNA are not responsible for how users interpret or apply the assessment results.
- Any business or personnel decisions made using the tool are made solely at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for those decisions.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team DNA and its creators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use (or misuse) of the platform.
Team DNA Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
To maintain ethical use of Team DNA and safeguard the individuals and teams who use our platform, you agree to the following:
Permitted Uses:
- Understanding behavioral dynamics in teams or founding groups
- Enhancing communication, collaboration, and innovation practices
- Gaining personal insight into working styles and team tendencies
- Facilitating team coaching or feedback sessions with informed data
Prohibited Uses:
- Using assessment results to hire, fire, promote, demote, compensate, or otherwise make employment-related decisions
- Using results to approve, deny, or influence investment decisions (e.g., funding startup teams)
- Attempting to extract, infer, or store protected class information (e.g., race, gender, age, religion)
- Misrepresenting Team DNA outputs as diagnostic, evaluative, or prescriptive judgments
- Using Team DNA in any way that violates applicable employment, privacy, or anti-discrimination laws
Responsibilities:
- You are solely responsible for how you use the platform’s outputs and for compliance with local laws and regulations.
- You must ensure that any teams, clients, or individuals you share Team DNA results with also understand these permitted and prohibited uses.
- You agree not to hold the creators or operators of Team DNA liable for any consequences arising from your use of the platform.
